K&A Wooden Creations does beautiful custom woodwork and I can’t say enough about how wonderful Paula and her customer service is! She takes the time to review your project needs, asks and answer all questions with detailed information about the differences in wood, stains, brackets, costs and more!
After install, we noticed a couple spots missing a second coat of stain that were meant to be installed against the wall. Despite this not being Paula’s error, she went out of her way to come to our house to touch up the shelves to perfection.
Yes, you will pay more than what you can find pre-made in stores, but you also “get what you pay for”. I couldn’t be happier with our kitchen open shelving in our forever home that we’ve received so many compliments on. Happy to support local, small businesses like this one!

Absolutely love the thorough work that was put into creating our beautiful custom shelves. They made the process easy and smooth and managed all my questions regarding stain colours. We were able to perfectly match our stain with the various options they had. When I had questions about install, they were quick to get back to me and help me figure out the best solutions for our tricky wall dimensions.
